Sidra

Sidra translates architectural research into collectible design, drawing inspiration from reticular structures with the inherent capability to expand and contract. The project is conceived as an evolving system rather than a fixed furniture typology. Its name references the lotus tree, which grows and branches while maintaining a clear and recognizable structure. This image becomes a metaphor for the project: a system that originates from a single element and develops in space through ever-changing configurations, while preserving formal and structural coherence.

The Sidra collection unfolds as a modular system, where a single element generates evolving configurations across scales and functions. A Bookcase, table and console emerge from a shared structural grammar that remains constant as use shifts. Glass is not surface but frame, its fragility held in tension with precision. Transparency builds rhythm, repetition creates verticality, and light becomes a material. Conceived as an open system, Sidra rejects fixed form, embracing transformation as an inherent quality of design.
